Our light-hearted Christmas show with dark twists, in coproduction with the Dutch company Monk. We served glühwein to the audience, dressed up to perform a nativity scene, read new year’s letters and organized a live donation show.
'‘Vrede op aarde’ enlarges recognizable situations and piles them up, which makes you tumble from one fit of laughter into another. The new- year’s-letter-atmosphere after the welcome immediately brings you back to the sugary Christmas stories of the old days… In between the bursts of laughter, Ontroerend Goed and Monk softly pinch our conscience. They show us a slightly shiny, little mirror…'
